CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman who was killed in a South Side crash that injured four others early Sunday has been identified, officials said.

Chicago police said the single-vehicle crash happened at about 2:21 a.m. in the 2500-block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive, near Soldier Field.

The driver, a man, lost control and hit a pole before colliding with the median, police said.

Police said one of the passengers suffered traumatic injuries. She was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified her as 21-year-old Joyce Qi Yile on Monday.

The driver and three passengers, all adults, were transported to the same hospital in good condition.

CPD's Major Accident detectives are investigating.
