Man found dead inside Stony Island Park home; death investigation underway: police

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was found dead inside a South Side home early Friday morning, Chicago police said.

Police said officers found the 27-year-old in the Stony Island Park neighborhood's 8500-block of South Constance Avenue just before 1 a.m.

The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office later identified him as Justice Newman.

How Newman died was not immediately clear. Detectives are conducting a death investigation pending autopsy results.

Authorities did not immediately provide further information.
