Woman charged for allegedly stealing shuttle bus at Midway airport

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman was charged for allegedly stealing a shuttle bus at Midway airport.

Kristen Burke, 39 of Chicago, allegedly broke into the Signature Flight Hangar, then drove the shuttle bus onto the taxiway on Monday.

According to court documents, she told police she was "just testing security."

She is facing a felony charge for criminal trespassing at an airport and two other misdemeanor charges.

Burke pleaded not guilty on Tuesday; she was released with conditions.

Her next court date is on Monday.
