Boil order issued for Lake Forest due to water main break, officials say

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (WLS) -- The entire city of Lake Forest is under a boil order.

A water main break Friday at Waukegan and Westleigh roads has caused water pressure levels to drop, official said.

People should boil water for at least three minutes before using it for drinking, cooking or brushing teeth.

The boil order remains in effect until testing confirms the water is safe.
