I-355 reopens after shooting investigation in Lemont, ISP says

LEMONT, Ill. (WLS) -- Illinois State Police shut down Interstate 355 amid a shooting investigating on Wednesday afternoon.

At about 1:08 p.m., police were called to I-355 near 127th Street in Lemont for reports of an alleged shooting.

Chopper 7 was over the scene, showing a black truck and a semi near the investigation.

There appeared to be bullet holes in the pickup truck.

So far, no injuries were reported.

All traffic was being diverted off at 127th Street.

The roadway later reopened.
