Lowell, Indiana to hold town hall on proposed $5B data center

LOWELL, Ind. (WLS) -- A $5 billion data center project near the Indiana border is getting a lot of attention.

Sentinel Data Centers wants to build a 160-acre site near Lowell, Indiana.

It is expected to bring jobs and tax revenue, but also raises concerns about water and power use.

A rally is planned for 5 p.m., followed by a town hall at 6 p.m. at Lowell High School.
