Magnolia Bakery in Chicago shut down after failing city health inspection

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Magnolia Bakery in Chicago's Loop is closed until further notice.

The location at State and Randolph failed a City of Chicago health inspection on Monday.

The inspector says they found live and dead roaches and flies the prep areas.

Other violations include food debris build up on mixers and other surfaces.

ABC7 reached out to Magnolia Bakery but has yet to hear back about when it hopes to reopen.
