The Mami Collective is celebrating its first anniversary with a live podcast event and a $2,500 grant for one mom's business on Sept. 25 in Chicago.

The powerhouse behind it all, Paulina Roe, joined ABC7 Chicago Monday to talk more about it.

She has made it her mission to lift up moms across Chicago.

The Mami Collective has grown a lot in just its first year. Roe talked about what's next for the organization.
