Man, 26, shot, killed in Hammond

May 13, 2014 (HAMMOND, Ind.) -- A 26-year-old man was found shot and killed early Tuesday in Hammond, Ind.
Police found Kelvin Campbell, Jr., of East Chicago, Ind., about 2 a.m. in the 36100 block of Orchard Drive in Hammond, Ind., a spokesman from the Lake County Coroner's office said. Campbell died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to a statement from the coroner's office.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, the statement said.

No one is in custody as the Hammond Police Department investigates.
