Man dies after being pulled from Lake Michigan on North Side, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police said a man died after being pulled from Lake Michigan on Wednesday.

The incident happened at 1:14 a.m. 3900-block of N. Recreation Drive, Chicago police said.

Police said the Chicago Fire Department responded to a call of an unresponsive man in the water.

The man was pulled out of the water and taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital where he died.

Chicago police are conducting a death investigation.

No other information on the victim was available.
