Mokena to name street for fallen soldier Aaron Toppen

MOKENA, Ill. (WLS) -- Army Private First Class Aaron Toppen will soon have an honorary street sign in his name in Mokena.

The southwest suburban soldier, 19, was one of four service members killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan on June 9. He was laid to rest on Tuesday.

Mokena will dedicate Townline Road from 187th Street to Francis Road in Toppen's honor this fall.
