Olasinmibo 'Sinmi' Abosede, 46, last seen Wednesday

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- There was a large-scale search Monday for a missing mother in Naperville.
The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County said on social media they were helping Naperville police in the search, which began at 9 a.m. at Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve on 83rd Street, about 1.5 miles from the woman's home.
Olasinmibo "Sinmi" Abosede, a mother of four, was last seen on Wednesday.
Dozens of volunteers were helping, along with K-9 teams and drones.

Illinois State Police previously said Abosede is 46; 5-feet, 6-inches tall; and weighs 190 pounds.

She has black hair and was last seen wearing a black head scarf, black Adidas jacket with white stripes on the sleeves, gray sweatpants and black Crocs, state police said.
She was last seen on the corner of Sudbury Street and Lindsay Drive, near her home, at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday. Naperville police shared an image of her.
Abosede has a condition that places her in danger, police said.
She was carrying a white water bottle and apparently left her phone, credit cards and other personal items behind.

Chopper 7 was over the scene about noon, and one of the people searching was put on a stretcher and placed in an ambulance.
It was not immediately clear what happened to the individual.
Those searching were wearing bright colors and combing through the brush in the area.
Monday's search efforts originated from a temporary command post set up not far from the intersection of Route 59 and 75th Street.
They wrapped up about 4 p.m.
Naperville police said the search did not lead to Abosede's whereabouts, but officials will continue to look for her.
One neighbor came outside to see for himself.
"This is just not something that's heard of here, where we live. So, for us, you know, yeah, it's just a little bit different. Having news helicopters flying over half the day, it's definitely a little alarming," the neighbor said.
Naperville police said the thick growth and terrain of the preserve made their search challenging. Springbrook Prairie is nearly 2,000 acres.
"I hope they find her, and hopefully, you know, provide some comfort and solace to the family here really soon. It's obviously very tragic and upsetting, and she's been gone for like, almost four days now," the neighbor said.
Naperville police have released few additional details about their investigation. At this point, they maintain that foul play is not suspected in her disappearance.
It's not clear if the search of Springbrook Prairie will continue into a second day.
"I understand that the uncertainty surrounding Sinmi's disappearance is concerning, and I assure you that this department is doing everything we can to find Sinmi," Naperville Police Chief Jason Arres said. "We will continue to follow up on any leads and lean on the expertise of our partners at NEMA and surrounding law enforcement agencies, who I want to thank for their dedicated efforts today. We know there are a lot of community members who want to help, too. I would ask that they continue to circulate Sinmi's picture and keep their eyes open as they travel throughout the region. The more eyes we have looking out for her, the better."
Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve and its parking lots were open during the search Monday.
Anyone with information on Abosede's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Naperville Police Investigations Division at 630-548-1421.
