Pedestrian seriously injured in South Side hit-and-run crash: CPD

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Chicago's South Side Tuesday morning, Chicago police said.

CPD said the pedestrian was in the 3000-block of East 100th Street about 7:30 a.m. in South Deering, when a silver Honda Odyssey four-door minivan with a damaged left rear tire hit him or her.

The vehicle was driving east on 100th Street, and did not stop, police said.

Police put out an alert about the crash Wednesday and provided a photo of the minivan.

They did not immediately provide any additional information about a possible suspect or the victim.
