1 trapped under car after crash in suburban parking lot: officials

MORTON GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- A pedestrian was trapped under a car after a crash in a north suburban parking lot Wednesday morning, fire officials said.

A car in an Aldi parking lot just before 11 a.m. at 7905 Golf Road in Morton Grove lost control and hit the pedestrian and three parked cars, police said.

Fire officials on the scene said the pedestrian was stuck under the car and had to be removed. Police said he did not appear to have suffered any major injuries.

He was taken to Lutheran General Hospital.

Video of the scene showed several vehicles with significant damage.

Morton Grove police are investigating the cause of the crash.
