Police: man traded $160K diamond for $20 of weed

PHOENIX (WLS) -- An Arizona man traded a $160,000 diamond for just $20 worth of marijuana, according to law enforcement officials.

Walter Earl Morrison, 20, was charged with felony theft after he allegedly stole a package containing the valuable gemstone from a UPS cargo plane, according to ABC News.

The diamond was recovered and returned to its rightful owner.

Morrison was fired from UPS after criminal charges were filed against him.
