Popular roller coaster running again at Six Flags Great America

GURNEE, Ill. (WLS) -- A popular roller coaster is back up running at Six Flags Great America.

Maxx Force was shut down this summer for track maintenance.

Great America announced the reopening on social media.

Maxx Force is modeled after Formula One race cars, with riders experiencing the fastest inversion of any roller coaster in the world.

Fright Fest attendees can get on board through November 2.
