Powerball ticket worth $1M sold in west suburbs after winning numbers drawing

CHICAGO (WLS) -- While nobody won the Powerball jackpot worth over a billion dollars for Wednesday's night drawing, a ticket worth $1 million was sold in Illinois.

The winning numbers for Wednesday's drawing were 3-16-29-61-69-and Powerball 22.

Eleven tickets matched all five white balls to win $1 million prizes, including one in Illinois.

The winning Powerball ticket from Illinois was purchased at Joe's Tobacco & Vape, located at 1945 W. Galena Blvd. in Aurora.

The jackpot prize was worth $1.4 billion, but since no one won the top prize, it rolls over with $1.7 billion up for grans on Saturday's drawing.

Powerball tickets are $2 each. All participants must be 18 years old or older.
