Quick Tip: Holiday tipping

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Holiday tipping season is here, but a new Bankrate survey shows fewer Americans plan to tip their housekeepers, landscapers, mail carriers and other service workers.

Bankrate finds 56 percent of Americans tip more when service is good, while 38 percent say they feel obligated to tip no matter what.

Give higher dollar amounts on the people who had the biggest impact on your life.

Consider buying gift cards in bulk which you may score a deal on and then had those out instead of cash.
