The rescue organization says Madison is now well enough to be adopted and her new owner will pick her up next week.
Though Madison had to undergo heartworm treatment and back surgery for a fractured vertebra, her veterinarians said her recovery has been "remarkable."
Madison, a Doberman mix, was rescued off the streets in Texas but slipped her harness near Midway Airport in early January.
Five days after Madison went missing, a woman found her under a car in a grocery store parking lot and recognized her from a lost dog poster.
The rescue organization says Madison is now well enough to be adopted and her new owner will pick her up next week.
