Firefighter falls through floor during fire at large home in unincorporated Schaumburg: Officials

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (WLS) -- A large home in suburban unincorporated Schaumburg caught fire on Tuesday.

Chopper 7 was over the fire scene in the 100 block of Long Avenue.

A Roselle firefighter fell through a floor in the burning home, officials said.

ABC7 was told the firefighter was quickly found and was not hurt.

No one was home at the time of the fire, according to the Roselle Fire Department

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
