2 people riding motorcycle killed in crash in Schaumburg, police say

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (WLS) -- Two people riding a motorcycle were killed in crash Saturday in the northwest suburbs, police said.

The crash happened around 4:15 p.m. near Golf Road and Commons Drive in Schaumburg.

A Nissan Rogue and a motorcycle crash at the scene, police said.

The motorcyclist and passenger of the motorcycle were dead at the scene, police said. Their ages and genders were not yet released.

A passenger in the Nissan was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Golf Road between Plum Grove and Commons Drive was closed.
