
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman and a teenage boy were injured in a South Side shooting on Sunday morning, Chicago police said.
Police said the shooting happened in the South Shore neighborhood's 6700-block of South Cregier Avenue around 10 a.m.
A 16-year-old boy and a 34-year-old woman were outside when a vehicle pulled up to them, police said.
Multiple people inside the vehicle took out guns and opened fire, striking the victims.
The teen, shot in the body three times, was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.

The woman, shot twice in the leg, was taken to the same hospital in fair condition.
The suspects fled the scene.
No one is in custody, and Area One detectives are investigating.
Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
