BOONE COUNTY, Ky. -- Sparks flew from a cargo plane during a rough attempted landing at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport on Sunday.
Video shows the Kalitta Air cargo plane suffering a "tail skid" as it tried to land on Sunday. Sparks flew from the back of the plane before it ascended back into the air.
Chase Michael Buob told Storyful he was at the CVG airport viewing area watching planes take off and land.
"Out of the corner of my eye I saw the Kalitta Air 777 tail-striking down the runway; so I rushed to pull my phone out and record. They were able to take back off again and circle around to land," he said.
