Thieves crash into Bronzeville gas station, steal ATM, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thieves crashed into a Bronzeville gas station and stole an ATM Friday morning, Chicago police said.

The incident took place at about 4:10 a.m. in the 3100-block of South Michigan Avenue.

Police said four suspects in a white Jeep drove into the front door of the gas station.

The suspects then loaded the ATM onto the back of a different vehicle, a gray SUV, and fled the scene.

Area One detectives are investigating.
