
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A shooting injured three people near the United Center early Sunday morning, Chicago police said.
Police say two women were sitting in a parked car in the Near West Side neighborhood's 100-block of South Honore Street just after 2:15 a.m.
That's when someone inside a silver sedan shot at them, police said.
One of the women, a 35-year-old, suffered a gunshot wound to the head. She was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition
The other woman, a 36-year-old was grazed in the head. She was transported to the same hospital in good condition.
A man standing nearby was also hit by gunfire, police said. He self-transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he is listed in good condition.
No other injuries were reported. The shooting comes as Windy City Smokeout wraps up at the United Center on Sunday.
Area Three detectives are investigating. Authorities did not immediately provide further information.
