Building Brighter Futures Center for the Arts is spreading holiday cheer on Chicago's West Side with its fourth annual Christmas toy and coat giveaway. It is Saturday, December 20 at 1512 South Pulaski Road in Chicago from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m.
The nonprofit, known as BBF, is providing winter coats and toys to local families in need. Leaders Jasper Hagan and Masayoshi Haynie say the event is part of the organization's year-round mission to support families through arts programming and community resources.
BBF encourages community members to give back this holiday season and stay involved beyond the winter months through donations and volunteer support.
