'Windy City Weekend' talks Cubs win

CHICAGO (WLS) -- "Windy City Weekend" welcomed a live studio audience Friday, as Val Warner and Ryan Chiavierini talked about hot topics.

The Common Ground Foundation is presenting its highly anticipated "Chicago Nights Brighter Futures" event this Saturday at The Geraghty. Commemorating an incredible 25 years dedicated to empowering Chicago's youth, this year's celebration will feature comedic legend Cedric the Entertainer along with other special celebrity appearances, music, cocktails and an auction.

The organization creates opportunities for youth in underserved neighborhoods by combining sports, mentorship and community programming - all with the goal of building strong leaders on and off the field.
