Woman sexually assaulted in Loop, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman was sexually assaulted on CTA property in the Loop Thursday morning, Chicago police said.

The incident occurred at about 2:57 a.m. in the 200-block of South State Street.

Police said the 35-year-old victim was sexually assaulted and the suspect fled in an unknown direction.

The woman was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she was listed in good condition.

No one is in custody and detectives are investigating.
