This all based on alleged incidents in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Police say they responded to a home for a child having a "mental health episode." They noticed marks and scratches on the 10-year-old and conducted further interviews.

Police claim Shazay Molleda had choked the child, holding fingers to her neck and jawline. Brittany Molleda allegedly used a spatula to hit the child.

The Zion Police Department said in a statement, "Upon being notified of the investigation involving Officer Molleda, she was placed on administrative leave," adding that the department is fully cooperating with the Pleasant Prairie Police Department.
