Redheads gather in Highwood for annual celebration

HIGHWOOD, Ill. (WLS) -- Redheads came together Saturday for the second annual Redhead Days event in north suburban Highwood.

Gingers united for the free event, which featured games, music and food, including carrot cake.

This year's theme was "50 Shades of Red."

The festival continues on Sunday.
