Woman, 23, shot in the head while sitting in vehicle

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 23-year-old woman was shot in the head sitting in a vehicle with friends in the city's East Side neighborhood.

Chicago police say shots were fired from outside the vehicle in the 10900-block of South Green Bay.

The injured woman was rushed to a local hospital.
