Take a ride on Six Flags Great America's The Joker

GURNEE, Ill. (WLS) -- Six Flags Great America is back at it with something new for thrill seekers: The Joker!

The 12-story, free-fly roller coaster is set to debut this weekend.

Park officials said riders will proceed up a 90-degree lift hill and then "flip head-over-heels at least six times along the weightless journey."

The park closest to Chicago is located in north suburban Gurnee, where ABC7 Digital Reporter Jesse Kirsch gave viewers a sneak peek at the action.
