As the NFL season continues to unfold, Week 6 around the league produced another round of quality quotes.
No matter the means of the result, elation is always in plenty of supply among winning teams and players. Here are the top voices of victory from the NFL's sixth week.
"I could be these guys' dads."
The Flacco era in Indianapolis continues to be prosperous, as the backup helped the team defeat the division rivalTennessee Titansfor the Colts' third win in four games.
Flacco threw 38 times for 189 yards and a pair of scores in the win. His touchdown pass to Michael Pittman Jr. midway through the fourth quarter proved the winner as the Indianapolis defense held Tennessee at bay to clinch the victory.
As has become something of a tradition after Flacco wins, the 39-year-old made a joking reference to his age and the ages of his teammates in a postgame interview.
Two of the league's most exciting offenses met in Baltimore on Sunday, with the Ravens squaring off against the Washington Commanders.
The Jackson-led Ravens came out on top, amassing 484 yards of offense in a 30-23 victory. After the game, Jackson expressed his admiration for Commanders rookie signal-caller Jayden Daniels, requesting a jersey swap.
After something of a slow start to the season, the Bears' offense has begun to find its rhythm, posting 30 plus points for the second consecutive week in a 35-16 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
In fact, the Bears' offense was perhaps a little too clinical for the liking of Chicago defensive end Montez Sweat, who joked to Allen that the team's consistent third-down conversions were preventing him from getting sacks.
"Just taking the opportunity to say, 'Screw it, let's go have fun on the road.'"
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers picked up their first NFC South win of the season in chaotic fashion, racking up 50 points -- aided in large part by a dominant second half, scoring 27 unanswered.
Mayfield said the team's mentality heading into the divisional clash in New Orleans was to simply have some fun.
Dobbins rushed for 96 yards in the Chargers' 23-16 win over the Denver Broncos, but Los Angeles also got a key contribution from Dobbins' fellow running back, rookie Kimani Vidal. Vidal caught a 38-yard touchdown pass from Justin Herbert in the first quarter.
After the game, Dobbins was full of praise, saying he was confident Vidal would seize his opportunity to make a difference when it came.
