Driver charged with DUI after SUV crashes into Palos Hills home

PALOS HILLS, Ill. (WLS) -- A 28-year-old man was charged with DUI after he crashed his SUV into a home in southwest suburban Palos Hills.

Police said Idrahim Ajdari was injured when his Nissan Pathfinder slammed into a house near 82nd Avenue and 103rd Street just before 10 p.m. Monday.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn for treatment.

The home was heavily damaged. The residents will have to find another place to stay.
