A former California mayoral candidate is charged with murder of his wife, Brenda Joyce Leon, more than ten years after her death was deemed a suicide.
PG&E held a wine tasting at Silver Oak Winery outside Healdsburg on Monday and Tuesday of this week, for the utility's top natural gas customers -- 60 people in all. A spokesperson said the event was funded by shareholders, not with ratepayer dollars. State Senator Jerry Hill is not so sure.

Power was fully restored to all PG&E customers in the Bay Area affected by planned power outages, officials said.
PG&E announced Friday night that they have restored 99 percent of the Bay Area customers impacted by the outage-- 98 percent of customers have been restored systemwide.
Lights are starting to come on for many in the Bay Area as weather conditions improve and PG&E issues an "all clear" for the Bay Area. Crews have begun inspecting and repairing lines so they can be re-energized.
