The 2026 NFL Draft is in the books and while we know which players are going to which teams, there are a few stories from the draft you might not have heard about.
Let's find out what they are in another edition of Tracy's Sports Shorts!
By now you've probably heard about Logan Jones, the center from Iowa who was the 57th pick in the draft by the Bears.
And because of that Heinz 57 gave him a lifetime supply of ketchup and named him Mister 57. But do you know what the 57 means?
It's actually the lucky numbers of Henry J. Heinz, who founded the company in 1896, and his wife.
Henry's lucky number was 5 and his wife's lucky number was 7. So they put it together as a marketing hook. In actuality, at the time Heinz made more than 57 varieties of products.
But they still use the 57 today as a tribute to their founder.
So, along with the lifetime supply of ketchup, Logan will also get a custom-made ketchup colored jacket with Mister 57 embroidered on it.
Wonder where he'll wear that??
Now given Chicago's somewhat complicated relationship with ketchup, West Loop restauranteur John Graziano of J-P Graziano was not to be outdone.
Graziano tweeting out: Welcome to Chicago Mr. Jones. You won't need ketchup here. JP Graziano would like to offer you a lifetime supply of Giardiniera!
And I can't end the segment without showing you this incredible moment from Saturday's draft.
That's Eli Heidenriech out of Navy who was drafted by my Pittsburgh Steelers. He's from Pittsburgh and cried when his name was called.
Heidenrich, who was wearing his Navy uniform, got the biggest ovation of the entire draft from the hometown crowd.
Real quick, the Bears had another 57th pick that went on to do pretty well.
That was none other than Hall of Famer, Devin Hester.
