It was a busy weekend in sports from golf, to Wimbledon and the World Cup.
But there are a few things of interest outside the headlines you may have missed. To catch you up, Tracy is back with "Tracy's Sports Shorts!"
We all know Scottie Scheffler is the number one ranked golfer in the world. But not this week. Scheffler actually missed his first cut in nearly four years.
For non-golfers, touring pros play Thursday and Friday for the right to play on the weekend.
If you're not one of the top 65 players on Friday of that week, you're cut from the weekend field and out of the money.
Until this weekend, Scottie Scheffler had made 79 straight cuts dating back to 2022.
Wanna guess who holds the record for the most made cuts in a row?
Of course it's Tiger Woods and it's not even close.
Between 1998 and 2005, Tiger made 142 straight cuts. The late Hall of Famer Byron Nelson is a distant second with 113.
Now, to the World Cup. Even though they lost on Saturday, one of the breakout stars the past few weeks is Norwegian star Erling Haaland.
They call him the Striking Viking and for good reason.
