Tracy's Sports Shorts: Teen finds Wilt Chamberlain warm-up at Goodwill

It was another big summer weekend of sports.

Tracy is here with some of the stories behind the scores in another edition of Tracy's Sports Shorts!!

Remember that story we shared about the 19-year-old who found an old Los Angeles Lakers warm up jacket at a Goodwill in Oregon. It sold at auction for nearly $90,000.

Turns out Quinn Brown first spotted the jacket in someone else's hands.

When that person threw it back it in the giant bin, Quinn snatched it up. Went to the cashier and bought it for $3.07.

He said he knew it was special because when he took it home, he measured it and it was nearly three feet long. Wilt Chamberlain was 7 foot one.

While the $89,000 is pretty cool, do you know how much the jersey that Wilt wore under that jacket in the 1972 finals sold for? $4.9 million.

Quinn says he's been reselling used clothes online for several years. Before this, The most expensive item he had sold previously was a T-shirt of Sub Pop Records.

That's the indie label that signed Nirvana in 1989. It went for $250.

Quickly turning to golf, history was made on Friday when Michael Kim shot a 59 in the 3-M Classic. That sub 60 round was only the 15th ever played on tour.

But the story of the weekend belonged to 21-year-old Jackson Koivun

Koivun competing in just his third professional event ever, beat out World Number one Scottie Scheffler by three shots to win the one and a half million dollar first prize.

Just three months ago, Koivun was still playing college golf for Auburn and won his third straight SEC Individual Championship.

While we may never have heard of him before this weekend, he was well known as probably the best college golfer in history, winning more events and titles than even Tiger Woods.

By the way, Michael Kim, who shot the 59 on Friday, finished in a tie for tenth.

Kim is not alone. Only 5 of the 15 players who shot a sub 60 round in a PGA event went on to win the tournament.
