Anti-Cruelty hosting Clear the Shelters event this weekend in River North

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Anti-Cruelty Chicago is hosting the Clear the Shelters event this weekend with waived adoption fees.

The event is on Saturday, August 22 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

All adoption fees are waived for all animals at their downtown Chicago adoption center in River North at Grand and LaSalle.

Darlene Duggan, the president of Anti-Cruelty Chicago joined ABC7 to talk about the event.
