'Air Fest' makes landing at Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum
Families can experience life-sized military history at this former WWII hangar, now known as Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum.

LOWER TOWNSHIP, New Jersey -- Following their careers in the medical field, Army veteran Joseph Salvatore and his wife, Annie, have dedicated their retirement years to creating historical experiences in Cape May County.

Nearly 30 years ago, they preserved an old WWII hangar and turned it into the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum.

Over Labor Day weekend, families flocked there for the annual Air Fest.

Air Fest 2024 has concluded this year, but the museum remains open for regular visiting hours.
