XL Fest returns to Chicago

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Celebrating the power of cinema, XL Fest is returning to Chicago next week.

The multi-day event runs Aug. 20-23, highlighting BIPOC creators in film, television, and immersive media.

This year's film fest is expanding its footprint, with programming at the Obama Presidential Center.
