CHICAGO (WLS) -- Most Blackhawks fans can hardly wait for the puck to drop and are hoping the Hawks can erase the bad taste they left after losing Game 3, but Chicagoans have been extending plenty of hospitality to the Lightning coaches and staff.
Coach John Cooper brought a group of Lightning employees to Chicago Cut Steakhouse twice in the last few days. Chicago native and huge Blackhawks fan Vince Vaughn picked up the tab for the group Tuesday night.
"Vince called me over to the table and he says, 'Listen. You're a Chicagoan, I'm a Chicagoan and this is how we do things in Chicago. I'm taking care of his check and there's no argument, there's no conversation or discussion.' And you can never argue with Vince Vaughn," said David Flom, of Chicago Cut.
