DUPONT, Wash. -- Officials have reported "multiple fatalities" after a train derailment in Washington state.
The accident, which happened south of Tacoma around 7:30 a.m. local time Monday, left at least one train car dangling from the overpass.
Motorists passing by expressed their shock as they captured video of the scene, while aerial footage shows the extent of the accident.
This was the first time a train was carrying paying passengers on this track, according to ABC News.
