He says was tortured by Chicago Police into making a false confession after a fire killed four people.
Clement says in 2009, he accepted a plea deal to accept time served in order to be released to be with his dying mother.
"And either I sign a document and get out of prison or I would have died in prison, I am here today to regain and recapture my back my life," said Clements.
Clements was 16 years old when he was arrested back in 1981.
