DOLTON, Ill. (WLS) -- A veterinarian in south suburban Dolton was found not guilty of animal cruelty Wednesday.

Dr. Amaredeep Sangha was charged with animal cruelty after four dogs were found dead at a Dolton animal hospital two years ago. Other animals were in poor condition, victims of chronic starvation.

The clinic manager pleaded guilty to three counts of animal cruelty and was sentenced to 180 days in prison.
