Anthony D. Cohn charged with attempted murder after woman suffers burn in Woodstock

Anthony D. Cohn, of Woodstock, has been charged in connection with the attempted murder of a female victim who was allegedly sprayed with an accelerant and ignited Thursday.



The female victim, 36, received a serious burn on her back from the incident, although witnesses at the scene were able to assist her in extinguishing the flames. The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Seminary in Woodstock.



Cohn, 32, was identified as a suspect and taken into custody. He faces two felony charges of attempted murder and aggravated battery.
