January can be a difficult month in Chicago. It's a time to recover from the holidays and brave the city's wintry chill. Kiki's French Bistro says January calls for comfort foods. So all this month, the popular north side bistro is hosting a French Comfort Food Festival featuring such favorites as lamb navarin, boef bourguignon, cassoulet, coq au vin, choucroute and pot au feu as well as some lesser known favorites like cow's tongue and blood sausage. Kiki's Bistro is offering ten specially selected French comfort food entrees at dinner; a slightly limited version of this comfort food menu will be available during lunch.

Kiki's French comfort foods will warm the stomach and soothe the soul as you dine in the intimate and casual setting of this classic bistro. An extensive selection of wine--over 200 wines by the bottle and over twenty-five by the glass--will be available to perfectly pair with each entree.

Owner Georges "Kiki" Cuisance and general manager Pascal Berthoumieux share some of their favorite recipes with us.

Kiki's French Bistro is located at 900 N. Franklin, Chicago. For more information, call 312.335-5454 or visit
