Banks statue's grammatical error corrected
CHICAGO It was unveiled on opening day Monday.
But then it was pointed out that there was a mistake.
The apostrophe was missing in the word "Let's" in Ernie's famous quote, "Let's play two."
The correction came quickly.
When fans arrived for Wednesday afternoon's game, there was something new on the statue base - an apostrophe.
