Derek is a very successful executive with a beautiful wife (played by Beyonce Knowles) and a young son to go with his expensive house and vehicles. His career couldn't be better, until a temp at his office (played by Ali Larter) sets her sights on him and puts everything he has at risk of being lost.
You're probably wondering: Beyonce is worth spending the money to see?
I must say yes, she gives a decent performance, and is worth seeing in this thriller. Even Idris Elba plays the part of the stalked executive pretty well. But let's be realistic, nobody is going to win an Oscar for this movie that is for sure.
The movie is a fairly predictable thriller for the most part but I didn't really mind that at all. The comparisons to "Fatal Attraction" are fairly obvious, but it doesn't reach fear factor of that past film.
It ranks fairly low on a believability scale because there was never any real infidelity, but again as a thriller I think it is worth the money to see. Not just a rental, but not a blockbuster either.
