Fire destroys Glenview restaurant

October 21, 2009 (GLENVIEW, Ill.) The fire at Matty's Wayside Inn on Waukegan Road broke out just after 3 a.m. It quickly engulfed the building as flames burned through the roof.

No one was inside the restaurant at the time.

Matty's Wayside Inn opened 80 years ago.
